Greetings everyone!

We're back in full swing with our monthly meetings after our break in July...

For the meeting this month, we'll be back at the Fortress of the Arts for a roundtable film industry discussion.

If you haven't been to the Fortress yet and you're a filmmaker, you'll want to try to make it out to the meeting to check out the Fortress for location shoots, there's a lot of great environments and plenty of space for building sets too.

Bring out your business cards, headshots and whatever else you'd like to share with people on Thursday as well as any topics you'd like to discuss.

Hope to see you on Thursday!

This month's salon will feature a reading of Shadowplay, a screenplay by award-winning writer/director David Greenberg and local producer Chris Hicks. Shadowplay is the story of a shy young painter who accidentally unleashes her inner demons when she attempts to seduce a man with magic.

If you're a filmmaker, screenwriter or actor and want to meet, connect and socialize with others, this is the place for you. This monthly event gives you the opportunity to see what projects members of the local film community are working on and gather in a casual setting. You can also bring a work in progress to screen and get feedback from your peers (DVD or VHS format only, please), or have a reading of pages of your script-in-progress. This is a free event.
