The Edinburgh Film Makers & Photographers Group

The group is about the bringing together of talent to create film, video and photography projects and to share local talent. There are frequent meetings where we collaborate on projects and generally have a good laugh and get some short films made and share photography. Not to mention, screenings of members projects, meetings and get-togethers on all parts of the film production process from script writing to getting your film screened. Who's welcome to join? On the film side, everybody involved in the production of a film, from scriptwriters to budding directors, from make up artists to aspiring actors (not forgetting Sound of course...). On the photography side, keen amateurs to established profesionals. And don't let the name put you off, we are open to members from all over Scotland and beyond - as the group grows local events will be scheduled. Whether you are new to the film and photography industries, looking to break-in or have a good portfolio under your belt and can share experience you're more than welcome.
