Meetup Cinéastes Parisiens | Paris Film Industry Meetup is free of charge -- it is sponsored by Cinema Minima News for Movie Makers.

Benefits. A filmmaker -- actor, artisan, director, producer, writer -- who participates in the Meetup will strengthen her career network in face-to-face meetings with women and men who are passionate about making movies. But the Paris Film Industry Meetup offers more than an exchange of business cards -- it is a relaxed and informal salon where tips are traded, ideas floated, stories launched, and collaborations started.

Future Meetups. Paris Film Industry Meetups are monthly, usually on the evening of the first Tuesday of the month. In 2007 Meetups are scheduled for October 2, November 6, and December 4.

Guest Speakers. A program of guest speakers is planned. Distinguished filmmakers will be invited to talk about their careers or their current projects. Suggest a speaker.

Cinema Minima Meetups for Movie Makers. The Paris Film Industry Meetup is the first such to be sponsored by Cinema Minima News for Movie Makers. This sponsorship extends Cinema Minima's mission, which is to support movie makers wherever they may be -- particularly those women and men who choose to create cinema far from Hollywood.
