Beginning Acting for Film Instructor: Vince Pisani (see bio below) Dates: May 14 ? June 11 Time: 7 PM to 10 PM Investment: $125 This five-week course develops foundational skills for acting in film. Instructor/working actor Vince Pisani brings each student through the basics of relaxation, listening and reacting, script analysis, audition preparation/execution and on-camera technique. At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to perform in front of a film industry professional as wells as receive constructive feedback about your performance. You will leave with a greater confidence in yourself and your on-camera performance skills. a valid check Class size is limited. Ongoing Acting for Film Instructor: Vince Pisani (see bio below) Dates: Ongoing, Monday evenings Time: 7 PM to 10 PM Investment: $125 every 5 weeks This ongoing class with Instructor/working actor Vince Pisani builds on the foundations developed in the beginner?s class crafting consistency and strengthening your on-camera audition and performance skills. More advanced acting techniques in the areas of visualization, preparation and execution are introduced, and you will learn the power of self-evaluation giving you the ability to assess your own acting experiences and learn from your mistakes as well as your triumphs. Ken Feinberg?s Master Acting Class Instructor: Ken Feinberg (see bio below) Dates: Tuesday evenings Time: 7 PM to 10 PM Session 1 June 10 ? July 1 (Business and Marketing Session) Session 2 July 15 ? August 5 (Audition/Performance On-Camera) Investment: Session 1: $200 Session 2: $200 Session 1 &2: $350 Actors who do well in the Entertainment Industry know success is about marketing, training and skill. Taught by CSA resident casting director/ award-wining director and former LA actor, Ken Feinberg, this eight-week Master Acting Class is broken down into two sessions designed for the advanced level actor to create more opportunities and work. Session 1 - Business and Marketing skills; Learn more information about the business of acting and gain valuable marketing skills individually designed for each student. In this class you will learn what you are selling, develop your own personal marketing plan, and set achievable goals. You will learn more about the business of acting, the tools of the business and how to get/work with your agent. Session 2 - Audition/Performance on-camera; Demystify the audition process by taking your preparation skills and learning all the little subtle things that go into an audition. You only know what to do in the room when you know what to do. This class culminates with a prepared ?on-the-set? scene that is chosen especially for you based on what you are selling from Session 1. Your scene will be edited and performance evaluated. Students may choose session one, session two or both sessions. Class size is limited to 12 students for individual attention. Interview required for admission. Upon graduation, students will receive a certificate and feedback from an industry professional. Veteran stage actor and working actor Vince Pisani guides you through the similarities and differences of the craft and how to execute it effectively for the camera. You will learn the different techniques needed to audition and perform on camera by focusing on Meisner?s truth in acting. This class also teaches the technical language and practical application involved with filmmaking. The confidence you gain in front of the camera will make you feel comfortable on a film set.
