Come to a local Meeting to have fun and make friends with people making projects small and large in and around San Francisco. From film students, to professionals, and anyone else with the dream of making a movies for fun or profit, this is the one place to meet those who share the passion and drive for movie making in the Bay Area.
This group is less about talking about making movies and more about DOING it. Some projects will be keenly organized, but most others will be less so.
We'll get cameras, some lights, sound and a few actors together once a month and see what we can come up with. We won't be shooting for distribution or festivals, but more about getting footage filmed, working on techniques, exploring ideas, and collaborating.

I am going to schedule this Short Film Meet-Up as a a place holder. I do NOT have an exact location or structure right now. But I am open.
I would like others to come up up with location & format however. If it's left up to me again, it will be some of getting together somewhere in San Francisco with some cameras, but no script or much structure. Read more
