Following the success of when we did it in March, we are going to reprise our “Make A Short Film Together Sunday” meet up on June 21st.

The idea for this meet up is that we all get together and pool our resources, gear and talent to work collaboratively in a no-pressure environment and make a short film over the course of a Sunday. We'll meet at Coffee Bar in the Mission, figure out who can do what, come up with a script idea, and then head out into the city to start filming. Afterward, we’ll have someone edit it and post it on Vimeo so you can show your mom.

The point of the meeting is to create a supportive, fun environment that encourages people to get out there and actually make movies. It’s also a great opportunity to meet people with skills that you can learn from, or make movies together with in real life.

This is sort of like the film equivalent of a potluck dinner, so please let me know what skills or gear you are bringing (keep it simple) and what aspect of filmmaking most appeals to you. Keep in mind however; you might have to do multiple tasks, including acting!
