This group is for anyone interested in the 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) in San Diego. The 48HFP is an annual film event where teams of filmmakers (and non-filmmakers) compete to see who can make the best film, starting from zero, in 48 hours or less. Completed films are screened at a local theater the week following the filming weekend. Meetups will be all of the various events leading up to the competition and also the subsequent screening events and wrap parties.
Filmmakers Network San Diego (FilmNet) is a nexus of film-related Meetup groups, including writing, filmmaking, acting, comedy, songwriting, modeling and photography meetups. Check out our monthly showcase/networking event.
